Download the Apps
Install Matterport Capture and your camera’s companion app and sign in.
Work through each step in order, then mark the lesson complete when you are ready to continue.
Before you head to a property, make sure you have both apps installed on your phone.
Matterport Capture
Camera App (e.g. Insta360)A Matterport Capture
Download Matterport Capture from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). This is the app that controls the scan, stitches everything together, and uploads your final 3D tour.
B Your Camera's App (e.g. Insta360)
Download your 360 camera's companion app — for example, the Insta360 app. You'll use this for firmware updates and initial camera setup. Important: once you're ready to scan, you will only use Matterport Capture — close the camera's own app to avoid connection conflicts.
C Log In to Matterport
Open Matterport Capture and sign in with your company Matterport account (the account where property images should be stored). Finish account setup first if you have not already. Confirm you can log in before you leave for a property.
