Prep the Property
Lighting, doors, clutter, and clearing the house before the camera turns on.

Lighting is everything
Turn on every light in the unit and open every blind. Dim rooms come out grainy, and the camera cannot invent detail it never saw.
Check overheads, lamps, range hoods, under-cabinet strips, and any dead bulbs before you start.
The door rule
Every door stays consistently open or consistently closed for the entire scan. A door that moves between sweeps confuses the alignment and the model glitches.
Prop open every interior door you want to show, including walk-in closets.
Hide the clutter
Clutter is the number one reason an owner asks for a re-shoot. Trash cans, cleaning supplies, personal photos, pet bowls, counter appliances, and closed toilet lids all need attention.
Clear the house
No pets, homeowners, or contractors should wander through. Tell everyone how long you will be and give them a clear time to return.
Anyone who walks into a room mid-scan is frozen into the tour. Clear the unit before you press record.
